Learning to play the piano well is an exciting and rewarding challenge, but to do so requires time,
patience and effort:
Lessons are given weekly at my home.
Lessons last for 30, 45 or 60 minutes, depending on the pupil's individual needs.
Pupils are taught on both Yamaha digital and acoustic pianos (see
Gallery).
Time should be set aside every day for practice in order that progress can be made. It is important
that during this time the right environment is created for learning.
In addition to piano playing, all aspects of musicianship are taught - performance, theory, sight reading and
aural skills.
Entrance to public examinations is actively encouraged.
